Fans of leggings are in for a treat! Leggings took the spotlight for spring, receiving designer treatment from Viktor & Rolf, Nina Ricci, Givenchy and Threeasfour etc. “Leggings have gone to another level; they’re not just for casual wear,” said Adi Gil of Threeasfour. “We’ve used prints that will encourage the wearer’s self-confidence and consciousness of her body.” The familiar silhouette was reinvented on the Spring runways in cutout patterns at A.F. Vandevorst and Rodarte, and in a flurry of slashes at Meadham Kirchhoff and Rad Hourani. Other designers went print-mad, with bold stripes, graphic patterns, and painterly florals all making appearances.
Designed and launched in Sydney early 2006 by designer Ron London and denim technician Alex Lambousis denim and thread inspires creativity through a progressive denim collection. One of the new order to embrace a simple branding ethos the collections typical silhouette invoked a fahion forward sensibility while remaining purist in its approach and paying homage to time lost construction techniques. Rigorous testing through their own in house commercial laundry facility has enabled collections to express infinite individuality by constantly evolving the most innovative finishing techniques.
Jeans are made to complement a variety of body shapes. Particular attention has been paid to the shape of entry scoops, back pockets, and pockets positioning to make the jeans ultimately slimming and flattering.
Heavy 25 gauge weight thread is used to give the garment an authetic traditional feel.

SoHo Casino Night party
The Soho NY location of Louis Vuitton was host to a ‘Casino Night’ Wednesday for a Fashion Week party. The event was held to showcase the Damier Graphite collection, featuring a new interpretation of the classic Dammier canvas. The collection features a Gotham-friendly black and charcoal checkered pattern with historic LV logos. Unlike the bright, Murakami print handbags, this collection is very sleek, minimal and masculine. These are the perfect business bags for the chic and cosmopolitan gentleman.
Bal Harbour Casino Party
In best Casino Royale style, the invite contained a single, custom LV poker chip. Walking in the door, guests were greeted by two lovely ladies, each handing out fake $100 bills for games at the Blackjack, Roulette or Poker tables. Refreshments were courtesy of Hennessy and Moët, little hors d’œuvres were spread to the guests by a dozen of ridiculously good-looking guys. The new Damier Graphite line was represented in vast quantities, in many shapes and styles, from small leather goods to the big travel Roadster bag. As you’d expect for South Florida, the crowd was diverse and posh, everyone appeared to enjoy themselves tremendously.
